Vince, Rody and Manon are the perfect example of a genuine harrowing tragic love triangle probably my favorite instances in current media where absolutely nobody ends up happy.

Rody chases after Manon, while she chases after vince and he chases after Rody, In each of the endings none of them end up fulfilled they don’t gain a single thing they strive for. they’re all so tragic and none of them end up happy i just want them to be happy poor guys :(

I don't think anyone has talked about post epilogue, when Rody someday comes to visit Izuku in Japan!

And what about Bakugou and Todoroki tagging along since they were all together in Otheon.

And Bakugou just CONSTANTLY struggling with his feelings coming from watching Rody and Izuku being besties and even looking like they are just a shade away from being a couple.

Pino hasn't made a single peep OTHER than affection for Izuku, and Bakugou knows what that means.

So Katsuki, who is obviously deep in his feelings for izuku, who is funding and orchestrating the secret support suit for Izuku, is just PINING for Izuku and "the rest of their lives", is just walking around Japan with Izuku, Rody and Rodys two little siblings, just SICK with his own frustration, jealously and anxiety.

But also he's desperately keeping himself in check because he has no right to ruin anything for Izuku. He wants Izuku to be happy. Right now, Izuku is so so happy to be with Rody.

But Rody is also extremely happy to be with Izuku...

Katsuki trying so hard not to hate Rody for it.

Katsuki trying so hard to not be mad that it's not HIM and Izuku out on a date, or a patrol, or even just a walk to the store, instead of Izuku guiding Rody around points of interest as a guest.

Katsuki is even getting to the horrible point in his life where he sees Izuku interacting with the young siblings(and he's always amazing with kids) and imagines them instead as little freckled kids with mops of blonde and green.

To further the illusion, as he stares with icy crimson eyes, he visualizes Rody standing there with a hand on Izukus shoulder instead to be himself, Katsuki "DynaMight" Bakugou, standing proud and beaming over their tiny family.

The thought makes him feel fluttery inside but at the same time, so lonely.

He sneered over how much he craved that domesticity.

Katsuki GROWLING like a territorial cat if Rody takes Izuku by the hand to go look at something new.

Katsuki almost losing it and maybe even having to walk away from the others if Rody starts floating the idea of Izuku visiting or even leaving Japan for Otheon. Telling him there's always room for him in their place(by now he has gotten a better apartment) and the kids screaming YES DEKU COME STAY WITH US!

Katsuki having to collect himself as he can't help but overhear Izuku kindly saying it would be nice to visit someday(but he doesn't hear Izuku go on to say that he would overall prefer to stay in Japan bc it's home and his mom/kacchan is here and his studies, plus a job is already lined up for him at UA....)

Then Todoroki sensing all of this simmering emotion in Katsuki of course and assuring Katsuki with his presence. He let's Katsuki rib him if it makes him feel better(it doesn't)

But Todoroki would also eventually assure Katsuki that "You're underestimating how much Midoriya cares for you. Just because he hasn't said it....we all know he's just not very forward about his true feelings."

Katsuki hopes that's true but just kind of grunts in response.

"You know...you could always ask him out yourself" Todoroki tells him in the flattest tone possible, and Katsuki sputters and turns beet red

Meet my terrible Dead Plate oc, Ignace; or if your fancy, Ignis.

~ Roughly around his mid 20s. ~ He only got this job when the bistro business first started up. ~ A terrible attitude with some anger problems. (Fucking HATES customers) ~ Believes if someone is talking about him, he sneezes. ~ Abysmal coffee maker

Backstory:

A grouchy waiter who was the initial cause for customer service complaints. Despite that, he was still allowed to work for the most part do to his reliability. Got to know the head chef only to sadly become victim to Vincent's cannibalistic ways. His hands and legs were dismembered before ultimately being killed. Haunts the bistro during the late hours. (For shits n giggles, he's the entity of Floor 7 in Elevator Hitch).

Of course, this character is a fictional work, nor does he dive into canon elements of Dead Plate. Just for funny shits n giggles :)

Fallen angel/demon Rody, but based on Crowley from Good Omens

Rody loved looking up at the stars in the sky, whether it's from the mortal realm or from heaven. It was his daily (nightly?) routine. He enjoyed looking at the sparkly view, especially with Manon by his side.

He dreamt about taking Manon to see one up close if possible. No, he wanted to make it possible. That was his biggest dream, that led to his biggest mistake. He went and asked God if he could travel to the stars and of course the omni-being would say that it's impossible.

But Rody was not satisfied with the answer so he kept on asking questions that he was too dense to realise how blasphemous they were. This angered God, making Rody tremble in fear and the next thing the young angel knew, he was falling off from the pearly gates of heaven.

He wanted to fly back up but he couldn't. His wings were already burning up and shrivelling away from the friction of the fall. He kept screaming in pain, tears forming in his eyes as he was continuously falling until he landed onto the surface below and then passed out.

Rody woke up, groaning in both exhaustion and pain. He wasn't expecting to see that his whereabouts completely changed. He was petrified, of course. He observed his location and he was absolutely sure that he ended up in hell. He didn't want to believe that he had fallen.

He was about to rub his temples to release some stress but was abruptly stopped when he felt something attached to the sides of his head. There's not one, but two of them, one on each side. He traced his fingers along the objects to identify, realising that they were horns.

His eyes widened. This can't be happening, right? Right?? He wanted to be in denial but he couldn't change the fact that he's also grown a long black tail. What shocked him the most out of all was that his wings have gone completely black and now resembling a demon's wings.

Then it hit him. Oh God, he's turned into a demon. He wanted to cry. He never meant for this to happen at all. So why? He wanted to atone for his foolish behaviour. He wanted to ask God for forgiveness but to no avail. Once an angel has fallen, there's no turning back.

EXTRA:—

Rody now has snake eyes instead of his normal eyes. He can no longer see the stars. As much as he wanted to, he's completely blinded. It's a side effect of becoming a demon. His vision to see those twinkling beauties in the sky was no longer possible for him. How sad.

There is something burning in his chest. Well-- besides his spark, that flickering light that has refused to fade away into nothingness so many times before. He doesn't know what burns, just that it does, and he would like for it to stop.

The painkillers didn't help, and locking himself away didn't, either. He wants to stop feeling it, wants the buzzing to cease as soon as possible-- but it won't. It won't and it refuses to even humour the notion, refuses to let him rest. Asks for rage to fill his processor and begs for something to be done-- but he doesn't know the why or the how, so it goes into his fists and there Rodimus goes again, having a tantrum that not even he can quite explain the reason for.

His hands are like molten lava and he is sure he glows from the heat.

Once he cools off, once his room looks less like a room and more like a crime scene, Rodimus sits down in the corner and lets himself sob.
